thanks for the kind words. it all has to start from the domestic league. and from out looking in, i think saudi has the best and most vibrant league in asia. league can help the competitions high, have new chance for younger players to shine and also most importantly a place where coaches can learn their tricks and tactics. i am never in favor of bringing out foreign coaches who might have international recognitions but being able to understand the culture of the nation, abilities of its players and able to manage a qualifying round is more important. because that's why i never in favor of international coaches. because they're just a merc.

saudis don't have a "best" of anything in asia. Don't make stupid comments. Best league in Asia? Is that why their teams always lose to Iranian teams? <<< and before you guys get your panties in a twist, check the head to head for Iranian clubs versus Saudi clubs over the past 5 editions of the CL.

Tough luck to my Saudi brothers and sisters , I think you guys will rebound and take back your position as a Asian power house in time for the 2018 World Cup . As a Iranian I like to apologize for all the headaches this kid Nima has been causing you guys on your own forums . He doesn't understand the concept of being a guest in the Saudi forum so I would just ignore him if I were you guys .

What local tournaments do we compete in other than the Gulf Cup? We don't even compete in the WAFF tournament?

Anything new guys other than our skilled in technique and speed

national team going down due to lack of stamina and underconfidence. We

were ahead 2 times in the game against Australia and still we managed to lose.

His stock has fallen even more. Now would be a good time for a UAE club to make a move for him.

If Frank Rijkaard is not fired then it would be a bigger achievement than defeating Australia.:D

I don't think anyone holds it against him. He was brought in a few weeks before crucial qualifiers to play fireman in a nation he doesn't know about. Not really his fault.

If you can justify to me why Hazazi was sitting out then I will agree with you. Ever since he scored the winner against Iran I've had an eye on him and he's always impressed me. Even in the game against AUS he was impressive and he came in when everything was lost. Has he been a regular starter under Rijkard?

Rijkaard has been playing with 1 man upfront mostly with Nasser Al Shamrani as the CF. Al Shamrani has been outscoring Hazazi for the past three seasons and won the golden boot last season.

Whenever Rijkaard moves for a 4-4-2, it's Hazazi and Shamrani upfront. I think Hazazi was injured for quite a while as well but the Ittihadi fans can answer that question.

I think Saudi football needed a wake up call as massive as this. It has been limping along for a while now. This should help bring in much needed reform and get the football back on track.

By "local tournaments", I meant local Saudi Tournaments within KSA, Not Regional / international local tounaments.

We seem to have a pretty much normal schedule: League, Cup and League Cup. We even withdrew from the Arab club championship and the Gulf Cup Championship.

In fact, since our league only has 14 teams, we play less matches than other leagues like the K League and J League
