I miss the days when BS was home for the intelligent and always had compelling discussions. Now it seems it's full of liars and story tellers, many from Iran and some others from other countries that invent fake stories and articles about players moving from FC Tuktuk to Barcelona

I feel like I am one of the few knowledgeable people left on this forum along with some of the great posters from Korea, Japan and many others from the UAE, Saudi Arabia etc.

What ever happened to bigsoccer beasts like Greenlioni and saudibeckham? Where is nurafshon and the mighty Iaco.

    Anyone else know dat feel?

Haha it's a Saudi troll or perhaps a Bahraini. We've had few of these on PFDC threads where the mods confirmed their IP addresses. They belittle Iran and over-credit other Asian teams while acting Iranian. :D

LOL good one I must admit.
In all seriousness, the wingers/forwards in Iran NT is very competitive atm with its Euro based players and in-form youngsters in IPL. All of them can't get invited of course! Carlos Quieroz picked 34 players for Kuwait and Guinea games and Azmoun who plays in Europe didn't get called up! That just shows CQ looks for more than just players being in Europe. Experience+Form play a big factor too!

I think you miss the times when Australia football state was actually looking bright. Now you're just a grumpy Aussie fan who claims to be the few knowledgeable people left on the forum despite your clear lack of knowledge in Asian football. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Just because you know about Korean, Japanese, and Aussie football, it doesn't make you any expert. That should be the same for most Aussies since you guys are new in this confederation and barely know about the history, passion, and football culture of Asian football. The bad and the good. You guys will get there but not yet!

PS: I'm not trying to be insulting or provocative. Just telling you the brutal truth in that statement of yours.

This match between Al Shabab and Al Rayyan is fantastic, 3-3 after 48 mins and could have been even 3-4 more goals :D

Like most "good ol' days" people remember. They never really existed in the first place. :p

Don't count out Nasser Al Shamrani from Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia. He already scored 3 goals in last nights match. and his 1st goal from a header was wonderful.

Fantastic day for Australia in my opinion. Hopefully Central Coast can maintain the momentum tomorrow at home against bottom of the table Seoul.

Unfortunately for Western Sydney, had UEFA group stage tie-breakers been in use, they would have qualified for the Last 16 already. AFC doesnt apply away goals to any tie-breakers according to their regulations (why?!?!).

Only one sceanario will prevent their progression: loss vs Guizhou and a Ulsan win vs Kawasaki. Even then, Western Sydneys loss must be by a 2 goal margin more than Kawasaki's loss. Can someone confirm this. Thanks.

Even so, I can not see them losing at home next Tuesday, especially having this weekend off.

Group D- Last match day is a big 1 for all the four teams to qualify. After Hilal drew with Ahli goaless later today , it means Sepahan and Ahli UAE needs a draw to progress against Hilal and Sadd and that to both teams playing away. It will be exciting to watch ..Cant wait for the final match day..

Thanks to a deliberate incorrect fixed penalty call by a Bahraini referee to help his Saudi masters. That said, this is actually a blessing in disguise for Iran as the Esteghlal players will now be free to join the Team Melli camp in South Africa, to prepare for the World Cup to play against Messi and co, while the Saudi players will be playing with their doodool watching the Esteghlal players on the world's biggest stage, on their TV screens. ;)
