Komano back for Uchida and Aoyama in for Hasebe it seems. Otherwise nothing unexpected.

    Hope Komano gets the start.

    ..and Kudo is there again!

It is basically means that he and Saito are ahead of Inui in the picking order.

    • Loss of Hasebe and Uchida is tough but hope for new discoveries in the meantime
    • Physical fitness is the key component of preparation in leadup to Brazil, both on the team and individual level
    • Colombia is the toughest opponent with athleticism, quality, precision of play, and speed
    • Cote d'Ivoire is a darkhorse with both quality and athleticism, and accustomed to hot climates as well as a diligent, detail-oriented coach in Sabri Lamouchi
    • Greece is difficult to play, as they effectively neutralize opponents' strengths with deadly counterattacks and organized defense
    • Colombia is slightly ahead of the pack, especially in terms of depth and tactical options off the bench
    • Plan to use overseas friendlies to bring fitness up as well as develop tactical plans for the World Cup
    • Okazaki is and has been an option to play lone striker
    • Unclear about Hasebe's status (returned to Japan for further exams), but he was well on the road to recovery during meeting in Nürnberg
    • Great occasion to finally play a match at National Stadium before the current version gets torn down
    • Hope to see national team candidates continue to grow over the next 4 months

I don't think that's how it is. It's just, Inui is not playing since a while. So... anyone is ahead of him.
    Happy to see Aoyama back

Also, I'm hoping for Hasebe to get well soon. He really helped out some of our guys when they were back at Wolfsburg.

I'm fine with that. The 3 FW and Okazaki, these four can contribute more to the team.

Pretty much it was him or Okubo

There are only 2 spots for the forwards, with Okazaki being a possibility as 3rd one.
So if you call Mike you drop Kakitani or Osako, your choice.

Of course it was too late to call him now for Kakitani

It will be cool if they switch the lights off during the game so that the players will glow in the dark.:D
Too bad for kakitani but a good opportunity for Osako to show what he can do.

Osako and Kakitani are basically in the 23 man squad for Brazil, I rather Zac tries someone else like Kenyu Sugimoto, etc.

Toyoda is the right choice. If Osako or Kakitani won't be in Brazil, he'd be the guy to call.

Usami and Haraguchi can't play in Kakitani's position in the JNT.

lol nobody sane would pick Sugimoto. But apart from this, what purpose would it serve to "try" another striker now leaving Osako and Kakitani out? They're going to Brazil anyway unless there is an injury. Which is why Toyoda is gonna be seen again.

I think Havenaar may still be ahead of him. But in this case there was no time anymore to call him anyway.

Who will be the player that will go to Brazil in place of Inui now that he's 99% out JNT WC calls?
