It turns out that the San Jose Earthquakes are scheduled to leave the country only once during the 2013 regular season (for the Saturday, August 10th game at Vancouver Whitecaps FC).

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

There will also be three trips out of the country for the CONCACAF Champions League group stage, if the format of the tournament doesn't change substantially from the 2012-2013 version.

The Champions League format for 2012-13 eliminated the preliminary round and established a group stage of eight groups of three teams with group winners advancing to the knock-out quarterfinals.
So the Quakes will play four CCL matches, two at home and two on the road.

Oops -- I forgot that the groups are of three teams instead of four. My bad!

Hmm.. Looks like several of our nationally broadcast games are at home. Maybe they are giving us more props as SS winners.. But really, can't say I'm happy to hve Buck Shaw representative of our club on a national stage. Can we trade our broadcast dates and use them all in 2014 instead? :)

There is a six-week stretch, from mid-May until the end of June, without any home games.

Has anyone downloaded the eCal version from the MLS web site? Is the schedule for all teams or can you filter for only the Quakes? It would be nice to have an eCal version for only the Quakes on my phone...

I'm just saying, it's better for them to schedule all those away games later in the summer, after school gets out and we can travel, you know?

22 June...RFK. I will be there. Hope all the other East coast Quakes Fans will be there too.
Am lucky I got to see the boys play in Philly last year and watch the ASG, where the Quakes played a big part.
    GO QUAKES!
