Curious to see if the rumored trialists Randy Jones, Glenn Hughes, Felipe Rose, Victor Willis, David Hodo, and Alex Briley make the field for Columbus.

Yeah I laughed when they said Le Toux scored. He is actually about 6'1... MAYBE 6'2 but no taller than that. He has never been that muscular or anything but I know he has been working very hard for this and he showed good strength when he brought that ball down on his chest. I also hope he has been working on his right foot because he favors his left a lot. I think some people might have doubted him coming from a small school but he is by far the best player I have ever played with. I used to also play against Don Anding in high school when he played for Chaminade. He used to tear us up but I still believe Leo is way more talented

Although the Crew cut a few trialists with Union ties (Krystian Witkowski, Lucky Mkosana) and added another one with local ties (Cody Calafiore - Temple), I would think that we might see at least one of the trialists that you mentioned (one on the left in the below picture).;)

Are you trying to say that the Columbus Crew have many smash hit singles from yesteryear?

Maybe a 4-4-2 with the dual d-mids in Okai and Lahoud with Leo on the left and Jimmy Mac on the right?

Based on the line-up tweet, it would look like your line-up. Otherwise, I would guess 4-4-2 with Lahoud at DM, Okai at CM, McLaughlin at RM and Fernandes at LM - also could see Fernandes as AM with Okai at LM in that formation. McInerney, Torres, Soumare, Vidal and Francis out from the group who were the Orlando City subs - Anding, Okai, Lahoud, McLaughlin and Hoffman in. Of the Florida camp participants - Konopka, Mendoza, Kassel, Albright and Richards are still waiting to make their pre-season debuts.

The Crew are starting essentially all reserve players as well.

#Crew96 Starting XI: Lampson; Beckie, Gehrig, George, Barson; Finlay, O'Rourke, Tchani, Meram; Warzycha, Finley

Pre-game has Schoenle #2 (Vlades no longer has dibs on it), Fernandes #30 (Schoenle wore it against Orlando)and Anding #16 (Francis wore it against Orlando).

#34 at right back does not look like Gaddis at first glance - could be Shaun Francis.

It is Shaun Francis - guess that they are giving trialists different #'s each game.

Offensive formation is 4-3-3 - defensive formation is 4-2-3-1 with Hoppenot up top.

    Line-Up:
    G - Harrison - 32
    RB - Francis - 34
    RCB - Schoenle - 2
    LCB - Jordan - 5
    LB - Anding - 16
    RDM - Lahoud - 13
    LDM - Okai - 19
    CAM - Fernandes - 30
    RF/RW - McLaughlin - 20
    LF/LW - Hoffman - 17
    S - Hoppenot - 29

No start for the completely healthy Soumare?

I think it's been said that they'll bring in a bunch of the starters in the 60th minute.

But he was brought in at the 60th minute last game, and he didn't start against Orlando.

    Nor the fully-fit-coming-into-preseason Torres ...

And Jack McInerney's days are over.

Goal Crew ... Corey Gibbs (?) has been harping on the shakiness of the CB pairing so far, and had to get that jab in after the goal.

Easy through ball to Ryan Finley and he scores in 28th minute - Crew 1-0.
