Thought of putting Cruz down but figured MacMath has a better chance of scoring. Lol.

    That's why I said shocking win. :D

It'd be great if I could figure out a way to get the stream (via the YouTube link) to work through the YoutTube app on my Xbox so I could watch this on a slightly larger screen than my laptop. o_O

Toronto look like they are in regular season form. They lost to Columbus today.

Hopefully that's not a sign that he's still bothered by his injury. My main focus will be on Daniel. I'm hoping he can find a niche in the midfield of a 4-3-3 because he doesn't fit at any other position.

    No Califf for TFC?
Cheese fries, it's the first bleeping game of the preseason. No McInerney or Torres in the starting XI, no double d-mids either. From all the raving Hack's been doing, I'd have swore Roger would start and Iron Bak would pair up with Parke. In other words, as close as it seems to the "best XI" we've got, it don't mean sh*t.

I'd expect a complete lineup swap at the second half, and let's sit back and enjoy the ride.

Interesting that you read it as a 4-3-3. I see that lineup and think 4-4-2 with the midfield playing a diamond; Carroll as the DM, Cruz at RM, Daniel LM, and Marfan as the CAM with the 2 forwards up top.

On a side note, not surprise to see Cruz out on the right, but frustrating that we don't see Marfan out there with Torres at the CAM. Or play the 3 forward line and let JackMac go out wide with Le Toux and a midfield of Carroll as the DM and Daniel and Marfan in front of him!

Edit: Just happy to be discussing gameplay instead of the recent display of ignorant name calling, but I digress

I just assumed Hackworth was going with a 4-3-3 was trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. but it looks like you're right. It looks like a diamond midfield.

Best part of the game so far was that Le Toux didnt take the first free kick. Although he did take the first corner.

Williams with a stupid giveaway that almost leads to a goal. Back line looks shaky.

Long Tan making our defenders' lives miserable. Looks like it's only a matter of time until we concede unless something changes.

backline looks terrible and Carroll with 2 bad giveaways so far.

Casey is making a huge differences already. Our goal kicks actually have a chance of finding somebody.

I would say other than a few times when he's dropped into the midfield, he's been relatively quiet.

Keon, other than a couple of poor FKs, has looked pretty good so far and has seen a lot of the ball. Caroll has been dreadful. Parke has been exposed for lack of pace. Cruz has made some good runs but doesn't have the skill to cut into the middle after he makes them. Orlando has shut down Marfan, as expected. Casey and Le Toux have not done much.

Caroll is putting in one of the worst performances ever in a Union shirt.

    First few thoughts...
Okugo pairing with Parke? No Soumare? A little surprised.
Cruz in the starting lineup? No McInerney? Please don't tell me it's so!
Someone other than Le Toux needs to take corners, please please please!!!

Does Sheanon know he's a defender? Why is he so far up the field, and why is he only jogging back?
