hmm . . I didn't interpret that as replacing as I thought here were some empty pillars. That being said, I can see your interpretation as well.
They already have a tribute to Tony Caig at the stadium - the giant orange construction cones in front of the MetroRail stop with "1" painted on them.
Re: the pillars. One side is legends, one side is actives. Hence, out with Cameron. In with Boniek. Move Cameron to legends side if there's room
I'll do the dirty work for Houston, says newcomer Driver Dynamo's Barnes on 2013: "There's a lot more to come"
Here's Ridge Mahoney's preview of the Dynamo from SoccerAmerica: Houston is determined to seal the deal in third attempt
Short blog re Boniek from NY Times: http://goal.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/...-has-the-name-and-he-has-the-game/?ref=sports “Strangely enough, I believe I had more of an advantage when I first came because in people didn’t know me,” he said. “Now, after a few months they know my tricks and level of skill and how to defend me better. But there is a silver lining to being able to spend a preseason with my team: it affords me the opportunity to get better and be sharper and be a bigger contributor to Houston.” Better and bigger contributor. I like the sound of that.
Apparently they didn't hire me as part of their digital media team. They must not have thought much of my proposed show "The Westside Factor"
So we go from a mostly American n Canuck team with a Vinotinto and Catracho back in year one to the American, Jamaican, Brasil, Limey and Catracho squad of 2013. All with great spirit for their football and apparently an emphasis on working hard in a team first mold. Love our team and love these past 7 years! Watch Driver be a Mullan like "run till I puke" type of footballer. Never thought we would have a Hearts player on our books.
Sometime before saturday, we can start the 2013 Regular Season Media. One thread dedicated to all the new youtube videos and collection of news articles across the web. does that sound good? anyways.
