It says invitation. So I see it as his on the practice squad and not the 40 man roster, if I use football terms.
Maybe the Dynamo are supporting the "No Place for Hat8" movement and after the Colin Clark incident wanted to bring back a player who the alternative lifestyle might support more. Or maybe they want a backup left back. He did start the Seattle playoff series for us on 2009.
phew, i was about to explode! heard from reliable source* that Chabala had been in town since shortly after Christmas seeing if he could 'work'** something out with the Dynamo. can't expound on the 'work' part but i did take it into consideration when deciding that the Dynamo wouldn't take a LB with the 13th pick. *you know how i know the Dynamos have made it. there are a whole slew of reliable AND unreliable sources trafficking in rumors and innuendos. **note: work was used in a vague manner in the original conversation.
Frankly, he could sit on the team at near min salary. Consider we have Ashe and Davis starting and then a rookie as the only other left sided (natural player). Since Davis isn't playing 90 minutes of every game he might be an interesting option to fill a depth spot. He actually played a decent amount of middie on the reserve team his last year here. Essentially taking the spot of C. Clark from last year.
Doing my twitter research. Chabala has been training at plex, went to Corey's wedding, and watches Netflix with Carr while reminiscing his old playing days with the Holden's
Did anyone else notice a picture of our very own Bandido in full orange sombrero on the signage at the draft as J.J. was walking up to get scarfed and take the stage? That is awesome!
I think Dom is the one determining the fit here. After Houston, I don't see another MLS team after him - if there was interest, he'd probably already be signed elsewhere. That said, he could provide depth in the back. Question is how little he is willing to play for.
I have to believe he is only an option at near minimum salary; call it 60k or less. And frankly, if our LB draft pick works out he may not get any offer.
The D-bag Cruz! He acted like DC united was the best and most first rate club in the world. Forget him. Then he got traded real quick! LoL Dude is fast but has no soccer skills.
dude, you don't the full story. Let's just say Danny liked it here. But business is business. If Danny got to pick anywhere in MLS to play it would be us-I'd put money on that.
I don't know the story your absolutely positively right all I know is he acted like a deutschland on twitter, he acted like the team he came from was horrible compared to DC. That's where I lost respect for him.
