Lavolpe's still an idiot but you appreciate what he did a little more nowadays leading up to the world cup. I don't think you have to be a slurper lavolpista to admit that.

    Gio outmuscled Abate?

Flores is a disaster defensively and Meza is a black hole offensively and Aquino at least knows how to foul so i say why not?

"We faced a great team with very good players. We knew we had to contain them and play directly through the midfield," he told reporters.

Is it realistic to think Mier could start at RB vs Brazil?

Chepo is barely figuring it out after BSMX has been calling it for like a year.

At this rate he'll get the next players right by 2018.

    LOL no mames. Sarcasm?

I agree Mexico will never do much with slow short players.
Not to mention Italy is light years ahead in technical understanding of the game. They know how to pass, move, intercept etc.

Not all indios are short and slow.

I went back to the last few pages to catch up on this thread. Until I run into this stupidity.

    I stopped right there.

Italy is not offensive at all or else they rape us good, they play five defensive mids and apply pressure. Im afraid for what might happen on wednesday.

Anyone who thinks Italy is a defensive team has not seen them play since Prandelli took over.

Ah I didn't think you'd refer to something as frivolous as a typo, but thanks for the grammar lesson bro.

I think so, it's the least (or most actually) we can hope for.

they are not offensive either, they put a lot of people in the midfield to make it hard for the other team to go thru there. If you think they are an offensive team then you don't know shit about football.

The ironic thing about this poster is that he is a Leon fan. I have relatives from that particular area of the world and let me tell you, the overwhelming majority of the people there sure as heck do NOT look European LOL

Yes, they are an organized team traditionally, but they still didn't put the pedal to the medal; and corona saved us a bit too. I'm not worried about brazil. Sure, they can beat us, but we will be able to attack against them. Italy will beat brasil, even though they are at home.
