I would hope for a good Argentinian coach look what it's been doing for Colombia they really have picked it up since he took over.

Edit: Well that and currently having the leading scorer of La Liga playing his best football so far in his career doesn't hurt.

at this time dont really care cuz there alot of time for that new coach to learn stuff it all depend who is that new person if they pick cobos wouldnt mind it neither but what drives me nuts is going to elsalvadorfc.com and seeing comment like what has cobos done for us and saying he is bad option you can say he struggled with chicago and quertaro but with the players each team had doubt any coach would save those team look at querataro they yet to win a game

That is the good DLC did but lets not forget the bad. He called in guys regardless of how bad they played for club and country. For as bad as the talent pool was during his time there were better options then Rudis. He also had guys take dives towards the end of games which is a mentality our players need to start moving away from. Other coaches can find talent we found new players even during Rugamas time as coach. If we are looking at CONCACAF coaches I would rather have Kenton then DLC back but ideally I would prefer a South American.

We can excuse the Queretaro results but he was given enough at Chicago to at least make a strong playoff run since over half the MLS makes the playoffs.

i havent forgotten the bad there were many bad like late subs that whole incident that happen in la uncaf with costa rica but if you compare the good and the bad i still think he did alot of good things in our football as for the strikers who else would you called instead of rudis??? we didnt have alot to pick we tried paleta larios that we even called up reyes he was a scoring machine in the league but in the national team nothing lester blanco was too young

We tried others but they should have gotten more games for whatever reason he settled on Rudis. I think Reyes should have gotten more games its not as if he would have done worse then the 0 goals Rudis was contributing regularly. I could see him making the same mistake again sticking with guys like C Castillo even though they don't really bring much to the table and aren't exactly young enough that there is any upside to sticking with them

Probably Burgos Jr. or Sosa. Sosa is inconsistent that's the only issue with him right now.

Search for a coach from Argentina, Uruguay, or Colombia wouldn't be bad.
If they want someone cheaper then maybe lean towards Colombia or Peru.
These countries playing style might suit El Salvador.

So far they are saying that the U23 are going to make up most of the team with a couple of experienced players i.e. Burgos & Lester. So far Dago (not a fan) and Osael are on the list.

No Dennis Alas? I haven't seen him play all season so I don't know if he still playing like he was earlier this year and last year. I'm guessing he's going to try out Ceren or Menjivar in his position. Looks like Sosa and Mayen could be fighting for the playmaker position since Quintanilla not there. This call isn't bad so far. It's going to be interesting what kind of field line up he's going to have.

I can't remember when his house arrest ends but it is going to be a while before he works his way back into the NT

His house arrest won't be over until way after the tournament and even then they are trying to get that overturn so he goes to jail IIRC. At this point he ain't getting younger so time for the next man up. So who will be captain is the question.

I'm really stoked on this call up. I'd still put Pacheco in at LB though. But alot of young guys rather than the old ones. Really Hoping Derby Carrillo gets the nod on goalie.

Instead of Monteagudo, Chochera should have put in Pacheco on that list.

Pacheco would miss half the tournament given his red card I can't really blame Castillo for not including him

The red card from the qualifier actually affects Pacheco in the UNCAF too?

Yeah I am pretty sure you can't serve out a suspension in friendly games.

No he can't but I thought he served it since he didn't play in the Mexico game.
