Has anyone heard from Chuck Cannon? Mr. Rockville Gunners. He hasn't made a move since around the 10th gameweek. No transfers for the year, which might not be a bad thing and is consistent with his approach, but also no lineup changes or changes in captain. Looks totally inactive.

Anyone have an email address?

I will be back next year and in Small Rocks after my double promotion..... (Sorry, couldn't resist )

 

If there's a spot open after things are sorted, I'd like to join the league. I'm impressed with the overall layout of the league, the draft process, and head-to-head/single player per team format.

I've been playing fantasy sports for years, but never took to the format that allows the same player to be found on multiple teams that is often the case in soccer leagues.

This league seems thorough and the relegation/promotion system provides added motivation to compete. If there's a spot, I'd appreciate the opportunity fill it.

Always watch soccer whenever I get the chance, and with NBC's very expanded coverage of the EPL in the season upcoming, there should be plenty of opportunities to tune in.

I like Aston Villa, but they've been disappointing of late.. The wrong kind of exciting to see if they can avoid relegation this season - they should be fine - and very disappointing since Martin O'Neill left. Didn't really expect them to compete with Manchester and the like going forward, but also didn't expect them to be at serious risk of relegation either.

I especially don't understand how they ended up signing Alex McLeish from a rival club, as that seems wrong on various levels, and was only emphasized by how poorly they did under his reign.

Would be neat if they beat Chelsea, but they're all over the place this season and avoiding relgation will have to be good enough.

Anyway, looking forward to the league if I'm able to get a spot. I'll also try to make a point to post at the forums here more.. Seems like a lot fewer advertisements than the last time I frequented the site, which is nice. Layout is also much more smooth and friendly.

 

I would like to play again next year.

 

It would appear I wont need to worry about that next season after all.

 

I'm leaning strongly toward stepping out. Love it, but spending more time than I should. I'll give a definitive answer shortly.

I assume someone would take offense if I save Glorydaze by making 75-100 transfers this week to drop into 7th and get myself relegated on the way out....
