    Who fucking cares?

Some might consider Spain [insert time frame here] the best ever ...

Some might consider Germany [insert time frame here] the best ever...

Some might consider Brazil [insert time frame here] the best ever...

At the end, it's going to be based on opinion since everyone is using their own measuring stick and stipulations.

The problem is the way it's argued is improbable. If anyone thinks there is an argument against Spain in the context provided, feel free to do so. But no poster here has managed to do so rendering the original claim as Spain as best ever single continuous NT even more valid.

So what are your expectations of the Pokal final? ;)

I'm going for 4:2 or 3:1 to BVB.

    Yes,
Ok...so, Spain is the best ever in under your parameters. Cool?

If you are cool with that, and everyone else is cool with that too, let's move on.

Kehl injured and out for the rest of the season but should be ok for the final.

Bayern are once again favourites so its not like us losing would be unacceptable or humiliating... But I want us to win this trophy very much so well... I don't know, I expect us to not f*ck it up like we did in Madrid for example. Give our all, score some goals and if Bayern still get the better of us, well, I will somehow swallow it.

I'm always willing to listen to other's views if they are just presented. It's like the BigSoccer philosophy is have an opinion and voice it as loudly as possible but NEVER require to actually back it up.

Would have been a wonderful discussion.

Holy crap. Okay, I'll spell it out.

Spain, 2007-2012 had mostly the same team.
Germany 66-71 and 71-74 had mostly the same team.

Frankly, again, not my argument. Nekki was trying to draw the parallel between Spain and Germany. I was merely helping. Reread the last sentence again if you think I have a horse in this race. ;)

ROFL....okay cupcake. What about Brazil 58-70? Jesus, you are arrogant. You just have to be right, don't you.

Refute that Brazil from 58-70 is any less successful as a single team -- meaning similar turn over in players that actually saw playing time and were vital to that team's success. You have yet to address that in your continued assertion around Spain. Feel free to post your response in the proper forum and let me know where you respond so I can laugh.

Dat Reus-Lewy handshake near the end.

Funny how we never conceded a goal in the cup, then again half of the matches were against lower-tier opponents.

Did I just witness Scheiber scoring a goal?!?!?

Now is the time to strike Bayern down like they deserve to. This team is notorious for mental fragility and BVB are the opposite. Frankly, I'd be surprised if we lose this match. We have everything it takes to beat Bayern and even keep a clean sheet.

I wouldn't get too comfortable. The domestic double is all they have left to fight for.

    Anything can happen.

    oh come on now!

They have been far better than us for the majority of the season. Momentum is important, but I wouldn't say Bayern are not favourites. I'm sure Klopp will be banging that underdog drum very loudly also and it generally seems to work. Love the underdog status

Your team has become famously adept at that.

I think a pissed off Bayern will be who you get. I ezpect a very physical match.

I don't think anyone is saying Bayern aren't favorites. And I think that is the point entirely...BVB do better as underdogs...and Bayern has been mentally off their games since FCA. The only question here is can Bayern find their old form...the one they had all season. If not, they will walk with one trophy.

And? The Pokal is the only title we have left to fight for...period. No one is getting too comfortable and no one is underestimating anything - but Bayern seem to be at their weakest right now. Pep does not seem to know how to turn that ship back around.

I just hope he hasn't ruined it for the German NT this summer.

Agreed, Bayern is probably pretty fragile right now.

As far as the NT goes, The "Bayern Blok" could be a problem. TBH, I'm not optimistic about this summer. Who can see any kind of momentum going into the tournament? If its not there, I feel bad saying this, but I hope they dont make it out if group stage. Then Bayern doesnt have to deal with a world cup hangover.
