    Metapan 0-1 Los Angeles Galaxy
    Highlight:

Firpo 2-1 Victoria (goals by firpo: Medrado Guevara 71 min and Erick Rivera 86 min)
Firpo completely dominated in the second half and poor finishing prevented them from winning the game by a larger margin

At least firpo has a chance of passing through. What is the next game in their group?

It all comes down to Sep. 26 if Victoria can pull off the upset in Tijuana. Because the group closes with Firpo going to Honduras.

So Firpo is actually eliminated since Tijuana won claiming one of the tiebreakers.

Yea peeped the final score... 4-1. Victoria fielded their reserves which is why a 15 yr old was starting the game, but he was also the U-15 CONCACAF Championship Golden Ball recipient.. so he must have some skill.

It's against the reserve side I am glad that they aren't struggling against them like they did the last edition.

Just about all the foreign strikers are over 30 the Argentinian from Marte is the youngest at 25.

Edit: Forgot about Faña I think he is around 26-27.

Took them long enough to make an impression in the Concachampions. All late also.

Maybe I thought he would have left last season since he finished tied for leading scorer in the last edition. Hopefully he isn't like Fraser (alcoholic) who messed up his chance in Mexico.

If you're talking about Nicolas Munoz I'm surprised Panama doesn't call him to the national team enough. You would think they would have give him some chances in friendlies too for being within the top scorers almost every season in El Salvador, having won 3 times top scorer in the league, and won 3 championships which one was recent from last year. He's a bit of a waste of talent in Central America for not being put on a national team but at least he's playing CONCAChamionship games. He does have his Salvadoran citizenship but he can't play with El Salvador for playing with Panama in a couple of matches. This guy probably has 1 or 2 years left to play.

I think he isn't being called-up because Panama have about 3-4 other forwards at a relatively young age already in the set-up.. like Blackburn, Torres, Waterman, Renteria, etc.

Made little sense since he rode with the older strikers with Tejada and Blas heck he even subbed in Orlando during that stretch of games where they struggled to score and that dude was with Alianza riding the pine. I think most people were hoping Muñoz would have at least gotten a call for the GC but instead they went with Blas which made little sense since you knew what you were getting with him.

He was going with what worked.. I doubt he was gonna experiment or bring in new blood midway in the campaign, even for Gold Cup. Maybe thats why The Twins got canned ontop of being eliminated in the worse way imaginable.

Eeh I can understand that but the GC was the best shot to see if he could bring in a scorer someone they needed at the time if Blas isn't able to do it. In reality what bothered a lot of people in El Salvador is that Muñoz never even got called up for a camp at most dude was straight ignored yet that fool Orlando who was straight garbage got a call up lol at that point people knew the twins weren't keeping up with form.

Word.. but in hindsight, Tejada did end up scoring in Mexico and he ended up scoring what was the winner at the time at home to put them through, until their defense choked in both games... soo I can't be mad at them. Bolillo Gomez looks like he'll be taking over, so maybe this might be his shot now that Blas and Tejada are basically donzoe.

Sadly this was Muñoz last shot dude is 31, should have taken advantage when he was hot. Tejada was a super sub so he at least was playing competitive in Mexico he was getting minutes so it made sense.
