Cartagines 0-0 Metapan (fulltime) Well at least Metapan manage to steal one point away, although losing at home makes their job that much harder especially now they have to play LA Galaxy (at home and away) and must at least get 4 points from them to be realistic about qualifying to the next round

I felt Metapan played pretty good in the first half it was a very open game good to see the youngsters get some playing time as well. I didn't get to see the second half, shame they couldn't put one in the net.

Firpo is playing Xolos, not so bad from Firpo, 36 minutes in 0-0

Feels like a replay of the last game so far.

Hmmm not bad, they just need to be careful with the fouls.

That was terrible from the keeper, also missed marking on a set piece has always been the killer for ES clubs. Also Jeremy Lynch is that all the strength he could muster on those shot attempts terrible.

On the bright side, at least they're not getting blown out like previous El Slv clubs in past editions of the competition, especially against Mexican clubs

This Xolos club just isn't the same as the one from Libertadores now that Mohamed has left and they have lost some players now that team was exciting to watch.

Agree with whoever said the keeper should have been subbed out.

Shame because when they subbed in the Neymar clone, Firpo started too look better in the midfield till Lynch was subbed in he should have used that on the keeper instead, also Lynch needs to bulk up and his first touch is god awful.

At least Firpo fought hard till the end unlike other Salvadorian clubs who go to Mexico and get there butts kicked like 5 goals & above. Great job Firpo still would had changed the goalie and at least Xolos isn't as good as before if not it would had been ugly.

    William Flores repped this.

Well the team was going to be hurting without El Ruso. But these games can help players like Monterrosa get a look.

So far Monterrosa has had a good game about the only one really. Pericles has been a decent sub so far but no help on his side, the PR player is always offsides he sucks, Muñoz is bouncing between hot and cold in some sequences.

Edit: Oh yeah forgot to add the keeper sucks Metapan better find a more secure guy.
