    Great post, thank you for this. I'm with you on all points mentioned, but have simply changed my ways in the past couple of years to save myself from myself. In some cases in life, especially for something so "virtual", and at the end of the day, admittedly irrelevant as football, I force myself to be ignorant. Because there are so many things in life that I worry myself sick over (like the future of humanity to name just one) that I choose football to be my "vacation spot" away from all the uncertainty, and take it more lightly because here I can at least afford to :)

    I started out this way. But I love BVB so damned much, I find it hard not to seriously realistic about them.

    If I didn't care as much, I could be more like other fans. Not saying they don't care as much at all. This is how I am when I care. It is just me.
