On the one hand, officiating has been dreadful; disallowed a legit goal and no penalty call. On the other, this team and Klopp fully deserved to lose. Hummels is the only positive takeaway from this match; proved yet again that he belongs in DM.
In situations like this one, the goalkeeper always wins the foul. That's the rule. Can't blame the ref. For the no penalty call.......very tough decision. I think more often than not, it would not be a penalty.
7 points in front of Mainz in 5. place, 9 games left... They still have room for mistakes and the Champions league spot is not in danger, but they must start winning again and they need Reus back, Micky as well...
Seriously, how many times should BVB flop to realize that this gung-ho approach against every opposition does not work? Wasted and ridiculously misplaced passes, blindly trying to squeeze through defenses whilst ignoring open teammates, and those lobbed balls... one, after another, after another ad nauseaum.. which in the end are almost certain to not reach a teammate.
We're still second only a point above Scheisse However we still have to play Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, Scheisse, Wolfsburg. Meanwhile Scheisse plays us and Monchengladbach as their toughest opponents. We could easily finish third behind those B*st*rds
I wouldn't be surprised if Leverkusen beats Bayern today despite how unlikely it is. That disallowed goal was a terrible call. GK should be protected but Ter Stegen knocked Lewwandowski from behind. Then there was the very obvious handball in the box not given. Unless the calls were obvious we weren't getting any. WHY ALWAYS US??
Saving themselves for Wednesday. Notice how we didn't press high up the pitch at all today? Against 10 men, all 3 attacking mids have to be creative.
For Klopp it's either or, all the time. Usual blame will go to referee and lack of first team but we know the reality here.
Didn't you watch the match? Maybe the referee tried to be fair but he wasn't. BMG barely deserved a draw.
Referee blaming for something that has been a pattern this season and foreshadowed last is not the right argument to make. The referee is not the reason Dortmund play well but still fail to get the points.
We let in two goals which was down to our defenders. But the fact that a sure handball wasn't awarded is the referee's fault. Also the Duksch goal should have stood and I explained why.
Yea ok, that's a surface level observation. The point is Dortmund drops points when they don't have to. A lot. Can't be referee's fault all the time. Bad refereeing will happen. Happens to the best teams and will always happen. Can't complain about that as means to assess and address problems.
