According to this "Bild" article (in German), future BVB striker Dong-Won Ji will miss Saturday's match. Apparently, he's suffering from a muscular contusion. What the Germans call a "Pferdekuss."

More stuff during the week! It is great to have a match week back again!

Is this on Saturday? I love how BL action returns during my exam week :(
We beat them 4-0 earlier, but I think this match will be much closer, any news on any of our injured players returning for this match, maybe last 10-15 minutes sub?

The good thing is, you won't miss very much. Good luck with your exams!

It depends on who you mean. Schmelzer should certainly be back. I haven't heard or read anything new on Sahin. I would expect him to play with a mask on. Hummels is said to be shooting for the match at Braunschweig for his return. I suspect we'll see Sokratis and Friedrich or Sokratis and Koray Günter starting in central defense against Augsburg.

I certainly hope you didn't mean Gündogan. With as much time as he missed, could not train fully some of the time when he "returned," and left the La Manga camp early, I wouldn't count on seeing him for awhile yet.......

So Bender should be good for this match then, or is there simply no news about him? I didn't expect Gundo to be back, but it's nice to have Sahin and Schmelzer back.

No news about Bender. In this case, it seems no news is good news...........

If this actually happens... could be a sign they are actually considering turning miki to a number 6 to sell Gundogan

Which in my perception I really see Miki developing into a great no 6.

No Bender? Both Sahin and Miki in the 6 role... I don't believe that, granted its only Augsburg, but Klopp should have experimented that over the winter break, not now.

Lineups from the club's website. Same page as the lineup picture above.

However, one of the local people at our group reported that Augsburg announced that Ji will be available to play tomorrow thanks to an injury to fellow Augsburg striker Sasha Mölders. I have made this change and added a few things below.

As far as what they're doing with BVB's lineup, I think there must still be something wrong with Piszczek for KG to be starting ahead of him.

I know it is hard to sit KG down after that nice first half of the season he had. However, is he really ahead of Piszczek now? I honestly think Klopp will go with what he knows against FCA. But I guess we will see tomorrow.
