http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2914...left-with-only-six-substitutes-after-miyaichi This is becoming symbolic.
from the article posted: Miyaichi is registered on the 'B' list of players but Uefa rules state that a player on that list needs to have been at the club continuously for three years to qualify - and, due to the fact that he has spent time out on loan, the midfielder has fallen foul of those regulations. What's not clear?
I thought it was very well known that Arsenal took Miyaichi off the CL roster for the knockout stages.
They didn't "take him off", they thought he was eligible as a B list member. Which doesn't make it better... ah well.
What are you talking about? He's playing for the U21 team and he's performing very very well cuz actually he's injury free something strange for his habits!
He reminds me Jun Misugi from Captain Tsubasa, if only he had the same level of skills as the level of injuries...
I probably shouldn't be, but can't help laughing after reading that exchange. If ever there was a case of jinxing...
So end of season http://www.japantimes.co.jp/sports/...chi-to-miss-remainder-of-season/#.UysrF_l5Ouc This guy should stop football.
I really wanted Ryo to succeed here but he needs to bail ASAP. He's pretty much at the bottom of the depth chart on the wings, very little chance he'll ever crack into the first team. I also have my suspicions as to the quality of Arsenal's physio staff. We always seem to be plagued with some sort of injury crisis; a fragile kid like Ryo needs the best care possible. If I were him, I'd head back to the Eredivisie or maybe even back to Japan. I think he can still succeed because he's still young but he needs to put this failed venture behind him and start from scratch.
I really don't see how Arsenal has done Ryo wrong in any way. They have been very patient really. He has gotten more chances than his contributions warrant, if anything. But he does need to hit the reset button now. Spend a few years growing up in the J-League.
J-League or Eredivisie? I'm pretty sure there are still fans of him in Rotterdam and he did very well in Feyenoord.
