Right behind soccer, college basketball is my 2nd love. I can't wait for this year, I think my Lobos will end the year a top 10 team
Nebraska continues its perennial tradition of disappointment, so interested in what kind of damage Creighton can do in the new Big East.
Watching NCAA this year is going to be exciting. I'll try to catch as much games as possible, in particular I want to see what Wiggins and Aaron Gordon may or may not become.
Nice win today I was rooting for you guys, and you've had the best OOC this year. MWC title still runs through Albuquerque though
We'll see. It sucks that it seems the conference overall is down, hoping we still get at least 3 bids to the tourney.
I still think SDSU, UNM and Boise will get in. That loss was deadly for the Rebels last night, they'll probably have to win the league tourney to get in now. I think our teams are a step above everyone else though. I could see both winning 15-16 league games and getting good seeds in the dance.
I was kinda dreading this season mainly because I knew that Kentucky would be back in the groove (I have a hatred for everything SEC except Arkansas) and my school Iowa State would be in a rebuilding/down year. But neither have happened so far so I'm happy for that (Especially since Iowa State is still undefeated) I cannot wait for the tourney this year.
My friend plays for the Spartans, so I'm obviously pulling for them. National Title for Michigan State is a real possibility
anyone care to provide me with all of the winners??? ;-) http://www.freep.com/article/20140121/BUSINESS06/301210085/Buffet-Quicken-Gilbert-NCAA-basketball
Cowboys have fallen off a cliff since league play started. Pretty surprising, they were considered a title contender
Melvin Ejim today, 48 Pts, 20-24 FGs leading Iowa State to a victory over TCU. It's been a while since we won all of our games this week. Short turnaround as We go to Morganstown to play W.Va on Monday.
I was watching Kentucky:Florida last week. Amazing how Kentucky has a potentially great bigman year in, year out. Cousins, Davis, Noel, Randle. Also Patric Young is one hell of a man.
I've been thinking, do you like the way the NCAA Tournament is set up right now? or would you rather have a draw system like the UEFA Champions league?
I'm assuming that is what he meant. I would guess that the top 8 teams in each pot are seeded? Also the 4 play in teams would all be made to play the #1 seed? I think it would be a bit better but the idea of the play in would but a wrench in the pots and seeding IMO. I'd love to see a well thought out version though. BTW...big game this weekend @Sebsasour. Really glad UNM beat UNLV yeseterday. I'm hoping that we split games with you guys and then meet in the conference tourney final. Unfortunately it looks like a two bid league this year
I've been waiting months for that game this weekend! I don't know who wins, but I'll be stunned if its by more than 5
Not exactly, it would still be single elimination games so 64->32 Etc. Round of 64 and 32 would include seeded teams that are decided by a computer system but all teams partaking will be decided by a committee and teams from the same conference cannot be paired with each other in those first two round I wouldn't mind having a group round but I don't think that's a great idea. And Duke Lost Again, guess they should've played the game the first time and not delayed it. Glad to see Karma bite Coach K
the end of students rushing the floor??? this could have been very nasty... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab...een-mexico-players-055656250--ncaab.html?vp=1
ehhh the guy caused it. I haven't followed it but I hope he gets suspended for throwing the ball. He can say he was throwing it down but it almost (or did) hit UVU player.
