Forgive me, I only saw or heard the quote. But what do yu fine wrong with that? At this point, considering the last two season, he's a side kick. Ocassionally has a game that reminds you of what he was, but for the most part. Lebron is still getting better, while Wade isnt.
Y'all read those Jordan remarks about beating all those guys 1v1? Some people think Lebron would beat Jordan - I personally don't, but what do y'all think?
I think in that same interview Jordan talks about OJ Mayo running his mouth when Mayo was still in high school and attending one of Jordan's camp so Jordan took it to him in a scrimmage. There's video of it on ESPN. I was watching it this weekend on my laptop in the kitchen and in one part MJ hits a textbook turnaround jumper in Mayo's grill to which Mrs. Mutante remarked, "Ooh! Just like Kobe!" Also, prime MJ would beat prime LeBron 1v1, is there any doubt? Although for the record hardly anyone in the NBA can really stop anyone else 1v1. It's just a matter of who would hit the last shot.
Good point - 1v1 doesn't really tell us all that much I guess. I mean Shaq would be unstoppable against CP3.
jordan would beat anyone....even though james is bigger jordan would still score his post fadeaway and kill him off the dribble if both were prime!
Derrick is back, the Bulls have a legit #2 guard (Jimmy Butler) for the first time in Rose's career, Hinrich and Dunleavy as the backup guards, Luol and Noah and Taj and yeah OK Boozer. It's gonna be a good year, my friends.
With the way Taj has looked so far this pre-season, I think this may be the last year we have to put up with Boozer.
It is my fervent hope and belief that the bad Taj of last year's playoffs -- and he was bad, oh yes he was -- was because of the knee injury. I love Boozer when he's on the bench. We can keep him for 32 years as far as I am concerned, as chief towel waver and comic relief.
Not to mention designated primal screamer. And here's a great flowchart outlining the thought process that goes in to Boozer's decision to yell...
He's still serviceable. A big man that can hit an open 15-footer will always be a welcome asset. And I still maintain that he's a better fit for the Bulls than Tyson Chandler would have been, considering the overlap in skills between him and Noah. But the stark difference in effort and intensity, particularly on defense, between Boozer and Noah, Butler, Deng, Gibson, Hinrich, or Rose leads many a Bulls fan to curse his name.
Dunleavy, blech. I hate that guy. He was kind of a douche when he was with the Pacers, and got ejected or at least a Flagrant everytime he played us when he went to the bucks. Soft ass no-d jump shooting hack artist.
He's the favorite player of my two nieces (ages 10 and 12). My brother is a bit troubled by that fact. Luckily, they seem to be more musical than athletic, though it's not hard to imagine the oldest, playing with the Elgin Youth Symphony, yelling "And One" at the conductor if she thinks he's not keeping time well enough.
I'll be accepting any final applications for one more week to jump on the Wizards bandwagon. After that, you'll just have to watch the show.
I'm aboard. I think the Wiz will be one of the most improved NBA teams and will make the East playoffs. John Wall has arrived.
