Finally Captain find his place. At least he will play and fight for the starting spot. Very good in WC prospective.

With Kagawa and Honda f*cked by the transfer window, this is the consolation I guess.

This is an absolutely great news for Nurnberg as for JNT and Hasebe imo

today was an exhibit of why he's a better player than Hosogai.

Yeah, making crucial missed backpasses made Okazaki benched. That's why he's better than Hosogai judging after whole 180 minutes!

I think you're getting close to Matsu's level of knowledge.

Hasebe had some poor mistakes on the ball, but otherwise looked like a positive influence on the team - they actually looked capable of passing for once! This was especially true on the right side of the field, where Hasebe, Kiyotake and Chandler changed positions dynamically and formed passing triangles. Good stuff.

I thought he was pretty decent overall to be fair, but I can't deny that Hosogai is playing way better than him in Herta so far. Season has just begun anyway...

the same old Hasebe on display today. Just like for the JNT, lots of energy and industry both offensively and defensively, but he has a maddening tendency to give the ball away very cheaply. That's not what you want in your center midfield.
