For the record, St. Louis sucks. One very minor positive from the game Thursday night was the organ player getting all Ray Manzerak for a good part of the second period. The game was still fun then. The best part of St. Louis was leaving. Bounce back game today boy and girls.

I just saw the replay and I love Brent Seabrook for that hit. I hope Backes' career is over and Seabrook is back for the next game, if only because NHL rules have become so full of crap they no longer make sense. I also love Towes shit talking Backes while he's wobbling there trying to get back up and go after Seabrook. Backes must have felt like a Shanghaied sailor after a drunken binge in port. I watched that hit 3 or 4 times, AWESOME hit. All Backes does is hit anything that's standing, pay back is a bitch. FVCK ST.LOUIS Hawks will win series in 6 games (4-2).
It's a tough break, because without the head contact it's a clean hit. But he does get his done rather solidly. It's bullshit that Lucic can add spear someone in the nuts behind the play and get nothing and then have this be 3. A little consistency please. Still have a lot of faith. They've played this badly yet were still within 2 minutes of going up 2-0. If the Kings can comeback from down 0-2 against St. Louis than so can the Hawks.
