are you asking if shane will be a center back with the rapids? yes. if you are asking if he's ready to compete this year... Probably not
I think that you have nailed the situation. Freeman likely wants away from the Rapids & although I respect his talent having a player who is disgruntled is totally disruptive. However, if we are both wrong I would re-sign/draft Freeman today. Others on the re-entry list I would consider include: Gargan RB, Califf CB (unless he is a management pariah) & Casey FW.
You don't think he can pick up depth minutes in the US Open Cup or play as a CB in reserve league games?
Not saying I have any clue what the plan for O'Neil is but this seems likely to me. But, Doesn't quite jive with why Pablo was re-signed if O'Neil is moving to CB, Moor would be his mentor. Its like every Month FO feels need to make a statement that so we can confirm to believe nothing that comes from them.
califf to toronto... colin clark to la portland pass chad barret to new england philly takes casey RAPIDS SELECT ERIC AVILLA keel to dallas montreall pass cbus pass vancouver PAulo jr chicacgo pass salt lake LAVELL palmer ny pass sporting kc pass san jose takes gargan seattle pass dc takes thorington houston pass chivas pass
Eric Avila has ties to Oscar while they were at FCD. It makes sense from that perspective but we didn't realy need another midfielder.
Just realized Avila was with Dallas while Pareja was tehre, so that probably has something to do with it.
MLS chat guy think's Philly picking Casey is the best move so far, with Keel and Gargan being the other good moves. See the pattern?
