Brad Guzan released by Villa. Any chance of a State-side return? I figure he will find a starting job with a second tier team

Big time shocker last night out west with Columbus winning at Seattle. Also, San Ho beat LA 3-2.

The results last night push the Revs to 7th in PPG in the EC.

I'd love to see the Revs sign him especially after how bad Reis looked last game

There's reportedly a number of Premier League teams interested. No chance he goes to MLS.

I am loving everything about this Portland Timbers Open Cup game. After 90 minutes, they're tied with the Eric Wynalda coached Cal FC amateur team at their home stadium. And they're playing almost all starters. I hope Waldo gets a pro coaching job someday, he has these guys playing far above the level you would expect. Extra time's about to start, comon you blues.

I don't believe it, they won. Didn't even need penalties. This has to be the biggest upset in Open Cup history, well done Eric Wynalda.

    From the MLS site...

Are the Fire already planning for reinforcements? This report from Europe claims that manager Frank Klopas is hoping to strike a deal for Red Star Belgrade captain Nikola Mikic.

After rechecking twitter it's confirmed that Jorge Perlaza is the player going the other way. I think that's a good deal for Portland, Mwanga still has potential and Perlaza is fast but a poor finisher.

Makes sense, Mwanga is a native of Portland.

Mwanga is a young kid, he might have been home sick. That could be why he hasn't been playing well or alot. Then again that team seems to be a mess right now. Definetely not playing to their potential maybe they just needed a shake up
