Gabriel Farfan suspended an additional two matches, 1 for the nature of his tackle, and another for not leaving the pitch in a timely manner.

Glad to see this thread pop back up.

If you haven't seen Montero's goal against LA from Wednesday, I'd highly recommend checking it out.

NY Red Bulls representatives have just arrived at Milano for starting negotiations with both Zambrotta & Nesta.

Wait 'til they find out the Revs have already been in negotiations with them for a month. :D

Are you sure? Everything I've read says that he's leaving Milan and has interest in MLS, but that he has yet to sign with a club.

One big game last night that affects the Eastern conference, as Houston lost at RBNY 1-0. Seattle takes over as the #1 team in MLS (points per game) with a 2-0 win at Dallas, and Chicago held RSL to a scoreless tie at home.

Dallas had 10k last night, so our Wed night offering last week stays as easily the worst crowd this year.

I thought the reason he was leaving Schalke was that he wants a three year deal but they were only offering two. If he's not interested in a two year deal that includes playing in the Champions League, I think it's safe to assume that he's not heading to Chivas for two years.

Disappointing result at home for Houston last night, as they tied Portland 0-0.

BTW, I really despise the fact that MLS doesn't change their standings page for over 12 hours (last night's Houston game still isn't in the standings).

DC United with a good 2-0 win at home against Colorado, improving to 6-4-3 on the year and now tied with RBNY for second place (but RBNY has 3 games in hand).

United is now 9 points ahead of the Revs, but the Revs do have 3 games in hand (albeit DC has the tiebreaker).

I read that he and Heydude were not invited to DC to meet the president with the rest of the LA team. I guess neither one is too pleased about it. Not a good move by LA

    Some big moves being rumored.

Heath Pearce has confirmed he's going to NYRB. The rumored return player for Chivas USA is Juan Agudelo. Great move for both teams.

Also Montreal has reportedly offered a contract to Nesta.

    More from this...
    Grant Wahl@GrantWahl
Hearing NY trades Agudelo, gets Pearce, big allocation, portion of Agudelo sign-on fee, plus Chivas covers part of salary number this year.

Makes a lot of sense for both teams. NY wants to win this year. Pearce will solidify their defense, while Agudelo had no place once Henry is back.

Chivas get a young partner for Morales/Angel.
