Schedule is out, although the team isn't really the Swope Park Rangers much this year. The schedule has the Rangers playing 4 of their 5 league games at LSP, and a friendly against Creighton as well.

The cool part is that according to the schedule, the games will be at night which means more likely for me and many others to attend. Good move on that part.

Also, the reserve game in Chicago is the day after the first team game, so maybe the Cauldron stays a little later like Colorado this past year.

I'm happy that these will be on weeknights so I don't have to remind anyone that my social life sucks. :D

no worries most of my social life seems to revolve around a handful of hobbies and watching sporting events for teams I live at least 600 miles from

    RSL 1 - 1 SKC
Dwyer with the goal in the 88th minute.

Lineup, best as I can tell from RSL's twitter feed:
Kempin, Harrington, Hedrick (Warzycha - 71'), Olum, Singh (Kyle Miller - 82'); Peterson (Ellis - 67'), Nagamura (Thomas - 62'), Sassano; Dwyer, Saad, Aiyegbusi

Speculating, but was it because of the turf?

Fun game to watch on a nice Tuesday afternoon. Just a couple of observations..... Sooney can find the back of the net if you give him an opening. Nice goal. Dom Dwyer has the possibility of making a good left winger. Luke Sassano is a really smart consistent player. Olum Will make a pretty good center back and the trialist did OK, but I would be very nervous if either Besler or Colin went out with an injury.......not much depth there...

Chicago had a hot headed right center back that was asking for a card all game long. The ref obliged him with a straight red in the 84th minute followed by another red to his teammate. The game finished kind of ugly.

I don't quite remember, but I think that Dom Dwyer took the corners.

It's a crime there isn't any footage of whatever happened on this play. In my head, I'm imagining Paladini violently sliding through Harrington, Harrington getting up in his grill, and then Watson-Siriboe backing up Paladini and probably making contact with Harrington's head in the bargain. Just a guess, but it was epic whatever it was.

There is video, but I am not sure the club will share it. I was standing next to the photographer that was taking the still shots and he captured the sequence. We looked at a pic of Watson-Sirboe being restrained by three other players. The guy was completely out of control with his attack on Harrington after the play. He needed to get tossed.

Imagine getting all bent out of shape and red faced after a challenge, then having to be restrained by your teammates and getting sent off, while wearing your colors which include a smiling Quaker on your chest. Brilliant.

ahaha, sounds like PV saying, "********ing referees, man" at 1:50 and drops another f-bomb immediately afterwards.

Must say though, PV is much much calmer there than I thought he would've been.

Watson-Siriboe definitely lost his cool. Not going to call our guys angels, but he took it a step too far. Let the passion get the best of him.

Purely to satisfy my curiosity, what is the referee pool for these reserve games? Just local guys, or does the MLS ref stay and work a reserve game before catching his flight home?
