With Akron having lost Mattocks, I'm not sure how much them being ranked first will really help. Plus ranking college soccer recruiting classes don't mean much in my opinion. All about what kind of chemistry your able to build on the pitch.
I'd prefer not to sidetrack this thread, but Akron replaced Zakuani with a freshman named Teal Bunbury and later replaced Bunbury with a freshman named Darren Mattocks. I'm not saying Koroma will be that good, but the Zips have recovered from big losses before.
Four losses, lost in semifinal of MAC, Sweet Sixteen. Not sure they recovered from losses of last season.
I don't know but I'll try to find out this week. I think John is a Jr. but I suppose Ted could be an uncle or something. The kid has known Coach Holocher for years from summer camps back when Holocher was at UC Santa Cruz.

Uncommitted as of signing day. Among the top players still uncommitted, three of them are currently in Florida. Nico Melo and Felipe Oliveira of the Florida Rush had not reached a decision as of Wednesday morning, according to their club coach Nate Omodt. According to Omodt, Melo is leaning toward North Carolina, but a number of ACC programs remain in the running. http://espn.go.com/blog/high-school...06/scanning-storylines-on-soccers-signing-day
