One Saturday, two Sundays, a Monday and a Tuesday? That sucks. I was unrealistically hoping for 6-8 games all on Sunday mornings.
Only 10 reserve league games? I hope they schdule some scrimmages against some local pro teams or something.
I must have missed the change, but it appears that today's reserve match against the feckless revs has been rescheduled to 5/20. See this link.
Do we even have enough players to staff a "reserve" team? At home, we can (and do) fill in with Academy players and other locals, but I don't think we would want to pay to have them flown to Foxboro.
We flew the academy kids to Toronto last year. So that's not an issue. Rob hit it on the noise: Jay Heaps is a dick.
The reserve match against the Red Bulls on Monday the 23rd has been postponed to some future date. Damn! I love reserve matches. I was really stoked to see us beat the heifers twice in two days.
i had scheduled time off for this too. jsf still plan to attend--u can jog up and down the pitch and i'll pretend ur NYRB and react accordingly
JoeSoccerFan famously (and not soberly I have to add ) tipped me as "Secondary Media" during an Open Cup match a few years ago. it's been a running joke for a few years now, to which he topped it by calling me "Tertiary Media" a bit earlier this year..
I wonder if these games are being put off until the summer so tey can get college players in and up to fitness to take part
Holy Shit. They're actually playing a reserve game today. In Boston. White and Saragosa are going...um I'm guessing a bunch of academy kids as well.
