Mitt was an investment guy, not a business manager. He's good at buying assets low and selling them high. I'm sure that's a transferable skill but I don't think that it transfers to being either a crackerjack manager or a job creator. More like a good Secretary of State if we lived back in the era when foreign countries would sell us their territories. Mitt would have saved money on The Louisiana Purchase
A few more Lupica op-eds and I'll start voting Republican. He writes with the same aplomb as an 8-year old with Down's Syndrome and a migraine headache. Being tickled. Even just reading that 3-paragraph quote makes me want to go find his high school and sue it.
Besides, It looks like Lupica and Brooks have switched roles http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/09/opinion/brooks-the-things-we-dont-choose.html
I clicked to see that you weren't kidding, but stopped at the headline. Brooks using sports as a metaphor for life ... hurl.
He is a douche to boot...sat down at a table where he was sitting at the US Open one year, he says - Those seats are taken, I said, in a nice tone, we would be quick and would move when his friends arrived..We just needed someplace to quickly scarf down our $15 burgers...he insists we leave and get's indignant...we told him to ******** off
Lupica....even on a show i used to watch (i still do not know why) "Sports Reporters" IIRC he had a bit of douchebaggery in him...it was just too obvious....
Alabama Santorum- 204,171 (34.5%) declared winner Gingrich- 173,163 (29.3%) Romney- 171,158 (28%) Paul- 29,393 (5%) 96% reporting Mississippi Santorum- 92,315 (32.9%) declared winner Gingrich- 87,797 (31.3%) Romney- 84,909 (30.3%) Paul- 12,409 (4.4%) 98% reporting
And Santorum takes Mississippi too! Chaos is awesome! Now if Romney comes in third in both states, that'd be fcuking awesome!
Just did some quick research. After Super Tuesday Republican turnout was down about 10% this year over the 2008 Cain, Huckabee, Romney, & Ron Paul show. Although I cannot gauge turnout today, anecdotally the Washington Post is reporting that it, too, was lower than 4 years ago.
