A little surprised to see both Seattle and LA bounced out of the CL yesterday. That's two losses in a row for LA at the HDC.
L.A. beat New England on PKs in a preseason game, but before that what was their last actual win? MLS Cup?

LA is who we think they are. They're a VEEEEEEEEERY top-heavy team. After their couple of "superstars," they're roster is pretty darn average. [Especially with Omar out.] Don't get me wrong, their starting XI is good. But it's not "that much" better than the rest of the contenders in the West. They won the Supporter's Shield by only 4 points in 2011. Let's not "crown their asses" just yet. If I was a Gals fan I'd be very concerned about what happens with their club when international callups, fixture congestion, injuries, etc. hit. Of course, I'm worried about FCD in the same regard. We're gonna get a taste of that this weekend when it looks like we might be without Shea, Ferreira, Castillo, and Villar. The West is gonna be so tight this year. I expect Portland to be a playoff team. I expect Vancouver to be much improved, although I don't know whether they're a playoff team. Pareja's gonna get Colorado moving upwards. San Jose is more dangerous than people think they are. [It's not like they missed the playoffs by 20 points in 2011. They missed them by 8 points.] One could make a case for every team in the West being a playoff team other than ChivasUSA. And in their case, I think Robin Fraser's at least going to make them tough to beat.

Houston hates homosexual ball boys in Seattle. http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/28/dynamos-colin-clark-fined-suspended-for-anti-gay-slur/
Um... lots wrong with that sentence. Anyway, I think Houston ought to voluntarily double the league's penalty to Clark and sit him an additional three games. And I'd say the same (or worse) if it was an FCD player.
Um....like what? I said it the most PC way that still jabbed at Houstank. What can I do to please you? (not that I care)

It's good to see Pareja doing well in Colorado. I wouldn't be surprised to see Oscar lead the Rapids to MLS Cup, ala JK9 at RSL a few seasons ago.

It's shocking to see Sporting is almost half way to the "lock for playoffs" mark (45-47 points) after only 7 games. They've started very well.
They're doing very well but I think for their sake they better hope they encounter some adversity midway through the season as opposed to doing lights out all season only to fall the first hurdle of the playoffs.
