We got Ventura County Fusion. Hard scrappy team. Get a win for Iraheta? http://www.vcfusion.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/Pages.Page/id/147 7 pm : Chivas USA at Ventura County Fusion (PDL) -- Ventura College; Ventura, Calif.
We have a good quantity of players to rotate, hope we don’t take this cup as another experiment with player, if we take it serious like Seattle has done this past 3 years im sure we can be there August 7/8 here you go guys http://thecup.us/2012-us-open-cup-bracket/
I love this tourney. The US open cup is the longest running tournament in this country. I'd be honored to have us lift the cup, I hope Fraser and Co. take it serious. I believe we have the squad depth to make a deep run.
All it takes is 5 wins. Hopefully Fraser and team take the US Open Cup seriously. VC Fusion is a good team, don't underestimate them...

Game recap http://www.vcstar.com/news/2012/may/29/fusion-loses-to-chivas-usa-1-0/ US Open Cup Bracket http://thecup.us/2012-us-open-cup-bracket/ Chivas USA plays Carolina Railhawks June 5 I'm reading the Railhawks will be hosting. To bad, but i guess financially it makes sense for Chivas USA.
Good game yesterday, We could have score much more, looked like we got countable for a wile, we made lots of mistakes Gordon and Aguledo did not look so good Nice stadium !
After that goal, the Chivas USA chances were scarce! The goal happened as we walked into the stadium. Immediately, I Thought we were going to dominate this game! I was wrong. Chongo and Bowen had Gordon break dancing throughout the first half. Chances for Chivas USA were rare in the second half. But, we hung on. Bring on Colin Clarke and his Rail Hawks
Game Highlights Artificial turf is awful, I hope the Railhawks have grass. You can watch the full game here
The draws for the US Open Cup have been falling in favor for Chivas USA. Fraser needs to take this tournament seriously and make a good run. Carolina RailHawks (NASL) this week. If Chivas USA win, the draw is the winner of San Antonio Scorpions (NASL) vs. Charlotte Eagles (USL Pro). Chivas USA will host if Charlotte were to win... This is a fantastic chance for Chivas USA to make a serious US Open Cup run and a potential CONCACAF Champions League berth... Make it happen! http://espn.go.com/blog/los-angeles/soccer/post/_/id/16917/open-cup-chivas-could-be-coming-home
It'll be streamed on Carolina RailHawks' website: http://www.carolinarailhawks.com/ and http://www.wral.com/
Starting line-up: GK Tim Melia LB James Riley CB Danny Califf CB Rauwshan McKenzie RB Scott Gordon LM Laurent Courtois CDM Peter Vagenas RM Blair Gavin CAM Alejandro Moreno ST Jose Erick Correa ST Juan Agudelo
Awesome feed. I'm very impressed by the commentary and feed from Carolina. Agudelo just put Chivas USA up with a great header from a Courtois cross. The RailHawks are a very physical team.
Great feed. Second half underway and rail hawks look to be pressing. We've been caught to far up three good times and rail hawks have got in dangerous positions. Good save by Melia
Great fight by Carolina. Chivas USA eeks it out on a Angel PK in the 90th minute to win 2-1. Stupid handball in the box by Agboss...Poor decision led to the penalty.
I'm still unsure of that starting line-up. Yeah I know Minda and Jazic are with their nat teams but still there are better choices and subs. We didn't look very good out there.
