I've been saying this for a while. The only thing missing from our team is an attack. A player that can score. Without that player, you are chivas and with it, you are america, as of now, that is.

Tell me what point i missed from what you wrote.

Besides the obvious "the better player is better than the not so better player".

Liking the things being said about Van't Schip by on of his former players in Australia.
Apparently the guy uses a 4-1-2-3 with three constant attackers at all time.

Possession of the ball is one of his priories, and he's a offense coach.
Supposedly, what he makes his squads practice the most are the finishing, movements off the ball, and possession.

i'm actually glad he's staying. when Pina is utilized in his natural winger position and is healthy, the guy is a monster. i still don't understand why many previous coaches insisted on using him as a striker

anyway, Venado will most likely be leaving. i say Fabian should take the #10 from him

Very good news, as others have said when Arellano is healthy and played on the wing he is deadly. Only thing he needs to work on is his finishing and yes I know he is not a striker but if he adds finishing to his game Arellano can arguably be Chivas best player. Very glad he is staying and hopefully he can stay healthy.

Pato will be the one above the line of 4. Chaton and Fabian the other 2 mids. Nava, Sanchez, and Arellano will fight for the 2 wings along with the refuerzos. The 9 will be caught by cubo, fierro and the refuerzo. I like.

Non of our delanteros were consistent. Hulk is a solid delantero, but he is limited, skills wise. For our delantera to function we need one dude to make goles(the 9) and that will allow our wingers and Fabian to function by not getting doubled and triple teamed.

Arellano has good moments, a flash of brilliance, here and there and that's all. Overall, his contribution to the club has been poor. A quick look at his stats shows us that he is good enough for 2-3 goals a season and just as many assists. That is a productivity level that I don't mind replacing.

As for Hulk, I feel like he was cheated from having more playing time. Fierro has a good Youth tourney and all of a sudden he is Chivas starting material. Hulk should have received more playing time..

Mediotiempo is saying Chivas will go after Herrera, Pulido, and Mier. I doubt it happens.

You know why they go after talent if they are smart? Because I believe the televisa contract will be entering its final year.

Speaking of tv, anyone know how they split Libertadores tv money in Mexico?
