If you read the post on the new keepers its clear he did camps at TCU. It is clear he was at TCU. It’s clear he is at ND now and to me it’s hard to guess otherwise unless I was told by Randy and I'm not in that group. I did call and ask and also heard from other parents and kids on the team. I was told there was no plan to leave ND. It makes sense to me.

    Go Irish!

Sorry, should have started a new thread to offer that a 2012 Center Back from Huntington Beach, CA, Charlotte Anderson, has recently committed to the Irish. She plays out of Wolfpack SC. Any word on her?

Was not @ the Iowa game, just know that Iowa tallied both of their markers late bases on Twitter feeds from Notre Dame.

Should have read "based on Twitter feeds from Notre Dame".

    Where is that info from?

Point #1 - I HATE this new format/upgrade for BigSoccer.
#2 Where is that information from? Not on the ND site that I have read.

Just that I see 10 players commited to Stanford...and they take 5-6.

The Charlotte Anderson information came from cbgsoccer who runs a recruiting site for Google. I can chase down the website address if you're interested. I believe you can find the address on BigSoccer on the 2012 Recruiting or 2013 Recruiting thread.

    cbg's site is: https://sites.google.com/site/soccerrecruits/

As y'all know, I think that this labor of love is the best in terms of completeness and accuracy of all the commit lists out there. He does a fantastic job.

I think it is a great site. When we sent stuff in - it was just posted. I am aware of some local girls that have switched and the site is not updated, so it seems to be mostly based on what is sent in by players / parents.

Is there a site out there that actually verifies? I tend not to think so.

Well, in my experience, cbg does verify in that he has to hear it straight from a player, parent, official posting on the web, etc. (I personally know of an example where he has left a message for a parent to verify if her daughter was transferring.) This is why consider his list the most accurate as I am not sure other lists even go that far. What no one can possibly do is to canvass everyone who has committed to see if they have changed their minds, etc. So if some girls you know have switched, their parents need to send him a message as he has no way of knowing otherwise.

My season ticket package says that ND plays UW on the seventh and UP on the ninth.

Either way, it should be a great weekend.

Does it cover the play at USD?

To be clear, What Pilot fans have is the preliminary UP schedule, which apparently still has a game or two to be finalized. Probably a contract or two haven't been returned. It shows UP @ USD Oct. 9.

The headline on the ND athletics page says a lot: "Challenging Schedule Awaits Irish For Silver Anniversary Season." Significant rebuilding/comeback year for the Irish.

Since my company moved me to Seattle, I will try to be there for that weekend.

BTW, Cliveworshipper, I went to the Chicago Fire/ Portland Timbers game yesterday at JELD-WEN stadium and I was impressed with the layout of the place. Nice and cozy.

Glad you had a good time. Portland has become a great place to see Futbal on all levels.

Can you envision a College Cup there? The first one at a designated site was right across town.

    Even more cosy.
