When i read about Pineda's surgery i felt bad but i thought... oh well.. it happens. You can't predict these kind of things. Its not THAT big of a deal. But when Cash came out and said the things he's said. I am frickin' worried now. This is a HUGE deal. I am kinda devastated. In all my time following the Yanks i've never heard Cash talk like that. Not a good sign. Our bats are going well and our pitching which was supposed to be our strength is letting us down. Every frickin' season its one or the other. As much as I despise the Junkees, I don't want to see Mariano's career end like this. But the question must be asked: what in the world is the best closer in the history of the game doing catching fly balls? What skill can be acquired from making catches in front of the outfield wall that would prove useful on the mound?
