Yankee power blew the Red Sox out last night. There was a 2-run homer from Ibanez in the 1st and a 2-run job from Martin in the 4th. Finally, a grand slam from Granderson in the 8th -- his 28th home run of the year. Phil Hughes went 7, giving up 5 hits (including 3 solo homers). Ichiro went 1-for-4 and scored 2 runs. Another loss. Freddy Garcia allowed 3 runs on 9 hits over 6 innings. Boone Logan came on and gave up 2 more. Ibanez homered and Chavez and Suzuki went back-to-back in the 7th. It was Ichiro's 100th MLB home run. More importantly, Mark Teixeira was removed from the game in the 8th inning after injuring his left wrist diving for a ball in the 7th.
