You've been around soccer too long to make too much of this. Funny things happen in this game, especially when you factor in kids and emotions. Playoffs: win and advance. All that matters now. That said, I don't see them getting past New Mexico, which, given Virginia's youth (Bates the lone senior), would put them about where they belong. They're a Top 20 team but on the outer fringe of Top 20; losing in the 2nd round puts them in the top 32 teams in the country but not the top 16, which for this group seems about right.
