Those bulk ticket printers are almost never color. I just thought I would see say Flyers Club ticket quality tickets (nice picture full color with perhaps some sort of embossed logo on it) vs Joe Ticketmaster with custom card stock.
It's possible that MLS sent the design to the Union for printing (rather than sending the Union pre-printed card stock) and the delay was due to the design being finalized. Getting things done early isn't the MLS way. After all, this is a league that releases the schedule 6 weeks before the season starts.

What's the current going rate for endline tickets? My interest gets lower and lower since it looks like MLS is hellbent on shutting the Union out of the all-star side on their home pitch.
Philly Blues are organizing all kinds of events with Chelsea pre-match. A "lifetime achievement" type award will be given to Frank Lampard and several Q&A sessions will be held (one moderated by Neil Barnett). Tir Na Nog will also have special busses and 'deals'. Most likely pre-printed card stock. Makes it more difficult to create fake tickets. It is one of MLS' marquee events and there is a scarcity of tickets for this match as well.
I also assume it will be Adu if anyone - because of the name. Although I think Valdes is most deserving based on the season up to this point (nothing against Jack or some of the other guys who have been shining in the post-Nowak world).
Valdes is really the only one I would say deserves it. I could possibly see Carroll but I think that is unlikely. Adu is a long shot as he hasn't shown much at all and the same goes for Jack. I would say take Marfan before Adu but Adu has the name recognition.
Well my All Star ticket was a Print at Home weeks ago. I guess I should start looking out for my parking pass in the mail now that they are sending the Physical tickets out.
Just got an email from Chelsea saying they're bringing the Champions League trophy on the US tour. Guess i'm bring a Chelsea and a Union jersey to the game!
The last time Chelsea was the ASG opponent, they brought the Premier League championship trophy. Before the game, there was a fan fest outside the stadium which had the trophy on display. If I recall correctly, you could get your picture taken with the trophy for $10.
Wear a Union jersey, but a Chelsea scarf/hat. Do players at the All Star Games sign autographs before or after the match? (if anyone's been to a match)
