Anyone know when these are finally going to be in our hands? I picked up 2 extra tickets for friends of mine (guess I'm one of the idiots who let them pay face value), and they're getting kind of antsy not having them in hand.

Not if they chose to have them mailed. When my rep was trying to tell me there was no e-mail option he said that they would be mailed first week of July. That is before I (might have) got him fired. Not my intention
I chose to have them mailed as a hard copy. Thanks for the info about first week of July. Guess I'll keep an eye out over the next few days.

Yeah. Any time he couldn't answer my question I would just e-mail Mark. You can see why Mark got promoted
I deal with Greg Imming and he has been nothing but helpful when ever I talk/email with him. On a side note, he let me know that they had been waiting on the card stock from MLS and tickets are going out so anyone who selected mail as their delivery option should get them soon.

Same here. Turns out they are crappy ticketmaster printed tickets. Had I known they would not be the nice tickets, I would have just printed them at home. BOOOO! MLS!
you would think for a certain sell out, with the cheapest tix being about 50 bucks (i think) you could get some shiny silvery full color something.
Maybe it had to be a certain weight of card stock and they wouldn't tell the Union what it was?? I dunno. Shame, I was hoping for something at least a little flashy, not like premier seating at the Linc but something with the MLS and Chelsea logos? Did anyone see what last years tickets looked like? If this is the norm for MLS it is a shame because people like their tickets to be souvenirs.
Who knows who is to blame, but I can find no evidence via Google or Image searches that there were ever any commemorative tickets made for MLS All Star games.
My tickets arrived today so I'm able to answer the question. There is a special card stock that was used. It includes the All-star game logo, the Philly skyline, and a sketch of PPL. Not quite as fancy as I would prefer, but it's something.
