I believe the latter. Otherwise, you'd just shuffle all korean youths who play at any competitive level through for 1 minute appearances.
most of the players have been the same. but sometimes hard choices have to be made just like leaving LKH off the world cup roster.
Yeah, it only makes sense to give exemption to the final squad otherwise you're setting yourself up for accusations of abuse or gaming the system.
Once we win a medal, there's nothing outside of an unconvincing, incohesive argument that stops everyone--including those who only took part in the qualification--from getting an exemption. Korean men rarely ever win a medal in a team competition, so the momentum built by our men's medal-winning success can cause a new rule to be constructed. Obviously, there's going to be some nit picking by the baseball committee, and by some of their fans, but fck them, we just finished top 3, or possibly better, in a global sport. The possibility of Korea winning a medal, however, is very low.
I imagine that if they were to get that far, there would be lots of hoopla and perhaps rash rule changes like 02 that might be turned over some point later. But that 1st half defense didn't look at all capable of getting us anywhere.
typical second rate middle eastern team _______ which is one of many that's holding asian football. fill in the blank
Here you go: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Urhc4CNGgXU"][???????] ????(Korea) vs ??(Oman) ?? ????? - YouTube[/ame]
The AFC needs to discipline Oman somehow. Players and fans shouldn't be fearing for their safety from some barbaric supporters in the stands.
Yeah. But knowing the AFC it will be some weird sequence where Qatar gets points again undoing our qualification.
SEOUL, Feb. 23 (Yonhap) -- President Lee Myung-bak congratulated South Korea's Olympic football team Thursday on having qualified for this year's London Games with a 3-0 win over Oman. Lee said in a telegram the squad "wrote new history" of South Korea qualifying for the Olympics seven times in a row and wished the team the best at this year's Games, scheduled for July 27-Aug. 12.
The truth about Han Kook Young & the fire cracker(?) I dont know if you can see the pictures or not but here it goes... The thing is thrown onto the pitch. Han Kook Young is fine. He notices it is about to explode. Backs away. Han Kook Young is still fine. The thing explodes. Han Kook Young is in a safe distance. Han Kook Young is no longer fine. Even the ref is closer to the thing than he is.. Han Kook Busquets.
it was probably a small stick of dynamite (M-80)....cardboard fragments? Although in other photos, he seems to be holding the back of his head.
