Disagree. Tottenham's kit with the white top and dark shorts is bad ass. That is what we need to be doing.
And apparently that is what we were doing this afternoon against LA Blues per the report in that thread.
For most of our history we have work off-colour shorts (i.e. white shorts with blue jersey, blue shorts with white jersey) but around 2008 we switched to the monocolour. I complained about it about 16 months before joining MLS, writing a long letter to Lenarduzzi pleading with him to go back to off-colour shorts so that our identity would stand out and not look like the Gals. I was, obviously, not heeded. =)
Interesting. It's crazy too since you have the blue lines on your shirt and it would mesh perfectly with blue shorts. I hope to come see a game this year in Vancouver, I LOVE that city
those are training kits tho, the yellow stripes would look awful with our home jersey. I hope we stay all white though, I love the blue shorts especially since it's like my Spurs but i think all white looks very sharp on us and makes us look like the champions we are
anyone heard what the hold up is for the the release of the new jersey? most onlines places have pre order dates of Early/mid feb but that doesnt seem to be happening.
I haven't heard anything but I am holding a small glimmer of hope that the herbalife deal fell through and the G's are looking for another sponsor for the jersey and thats why its been delayed
I splurged and got both a custom and authentic. I ordered the day they became available and both came in this week. The authentic had the stars, but no scudetto. I wonder if they forgot to put it on.
On the plus side of things, some websites have pushed up their release date from late May to early/mid Feb...
gave in and [pre] ordered the authentic long sleeve home jersey. it was weird tho bc when i placed the order it said pre order: Early Feb. but when i got the order conformation email, the order status was in stock. so we'll see.

Want a long sleeve away jersey this year. It's definitely grown on my from last year. Long sleeve black would be nice as well (without the bra straps).
The Herbalife deal originally began mid-season... so it makes sense it would be over this mid-season. And there hasn't been any official word of Herbalife and LA setting up another deal yet...
My STH rep said they renewed last season for a "multi year extension" - Not sure if I heard it correctly, but I don't think Herbalife is going anywhere. *Until Becks or LD leaves the team, that is.
Hey if you are dumb enough to give Herbalife your money and they want to give it to the club I am all for it.
