    Signed almost two weeks ago, but only became eligible to play on the 22nd (I think its the same for all players who are midseason signings). He was training for most of the two weeks so he shouldnt take that long to get into condition

    He only played about 20 minutes but looked really useful. Kofu didnt have a player who can really hold the ball up and dribble, before now. Kashiwa and Hosaka are both decent dribbler/penetrators but they get knocked off the ball too easily. A guy like Fernandinho will make it much easier for Ventforet to do patient buildup, instead of just hoofing the ball for Davi at the first opportunity.

    The transfer opened on 20.07. (and will close on 17.08.). So this was the first game he was eligible to play. Same for Abuda (Gifu) or for Leandro in J1 at the next weekend.

    @Matsu,
    Thank You for the quick and informative response.

    Kofu looks imressive position at the table. What do You think from now on ?
    Do they gonna get J 1 spot /or aswell winning the J2 title?

    Till now it looks like Davi cared offensive end. The Guy become scorer consistendly in Kofu.

    Another question;

    Whether Kofu move up J1 or not,
    Do Davi gonna continue in the club?

    Personaly I think Kofu~Davi chemistry works and worked well to this day.

    I hope He continue and show his impressive performance consistendly in J1 for Kofu .

    ps:
    It was a tought game @Jef.

    But good perform Kofu as a team unit.

    Looks like Yokohama F-Marinos' Kano Kenta's loan to Avispa has gone through.

    The better we do at the Olympics, the more the chances for a work permit, otherwise it looks pretty hard, though he could be bought and loaned outside Uk. (if he even truly goes)

    Because I don't think he would agree on such a backward move? I mean he went from J League to Bochum...

    That was the second thing (the first one is Makino) that came to my mind after hearing 'FC Koeln'. And still a 10+ goals per season striker.

    Novakovič and Ljubijankič have linked up in the past in the national team.

    It will be interesting to see how will they do this time. Though Novakovič is certainly past his best days

    Verdenik knows them bettter and will hence try to work with them in offense. Both are the type of striker who can hold up the ball and will move towards midfield to gather it and lay it off for any incoming teammates

    Also Novakovič is quite good at free kicks, both are quite tall as well, especially Novagoal (that's his nickname)

    funfact

    meanwhile Brečko became captain of Koln, which is just lol

    Takumi Minamino joined Cerezo (U 18). Hope he gets some playtime like Ishige.

    Neto Baiano joined Kashiwa. It looks like a formation of Bahia Trio in Kashiwa.

    Yuya Kubo likely to join Young Boys of Switzerland.

    Absolutely dumb but it's only a loan. Don't understand why a good Japanese team doesn't try harder for him.

    Not so rough on the boy. Young Boys play every year in Europe, they're a good team and a good place to raise up his skills. Yes, finishing the year in Kyoto wouldn't have been that bad.. but Young Boys raised also Doumbia or Lulic, so let's trust the Swiss club and good luck to him.

    hmmm.....did he have no offers from anywhere in Japan?
    Maybe he was insistent on being at a european team asap and said yes to the first ones that came along.
