No, but neither Ficcadenti is the "average" italian coach. He's a bad italian coach.

Pekerman was as cartain accorfing to Nikkan before Zaccheroni was chosen. And yes, 確実 = certainty.

Surely that offer would have made more sense last year? For all we know Tokyo could sweep to the J1 championship next year.

If one would ask me who's the player which comes first into my head asked about Omiya Ardija that would be Chikara Fujimoto without a doubt. I thought that he'll retire there. Here's nice entry from his blog. I hope he'll be back someday again in Omiya because he deserves it.

It seems like they're reinforcing their defence every year with Konno ;)

Mito has been sponsored from the city government through the plans of the new young mayor, and has cut 8 mostly young talents who have shown great potential. Hashiratani may have some more power and be ready to leave his special mark in another team's history...

No love for Chikara? What were you expecting from 34 years old player?

Soma stays in Kawasaki for the next season. I don't mind seriously after a nice (imo) first year in a pro club but others could have some objections with that choice obviously.

A guy who could realize that he was 30ish and realize that he couldnt take people on one on three anymore. A guy who would work hard for 30 minutes instead of "conserving" himself on defense for 70 minutes.

He lived off of one really good year at Omiya.

Kobe going for Tashiro AND Nozawa. Didn't expect that, don't expect them to get Nozawa but that would be a huge step towards a spot in the ACL in 2013 if they did.

Masato Yamazaki to Montedio Yamagata according to Sanfrecce's site.

Tomic, Mujiri, Issei Takayanagi, Kota Hattori and Takeshi Morita are also being let go, according to Sanfrecce.

Hmm... I've read that Okubo is likely to sign a few years contract. Hashimoto, Futagawa... I've heard earlier about their interest in Tashiro but I doubt about Nozawa. But after all 'Baseball is business, football is hobby'.

That would be cool to see, some kid could learn SO much from him. He's not the biggest guy either.

Though if they're going for a veteran striker, why not Ruud van Nistelrooy. He's 35 (inzaghi's like 38) and only on a 1yr contract with Malaga.

I'd be very happy about that. Morishima is a legend around those parts. :)

Especially Nozawa would be a great hit.

Urawa & Nishino again. But says that Okada rejected Urawa and might become the coach of Hangzhou Greentown.

If Okada's so keen to coach overseas I'd love to see how he goes in europe even in a 2nd tier league like Belgium (he had an offer from there last year), apparently after the FWC he had offers overseas which he rejected back then.

Add Guti to the list ;)

The truth about current talks with Okada are uknown and varies from paper to paper. But it seems like Urawa are still in talks with Nishino after he announced that he'll leave Gamba after the end of the season. So knowing Urawa's management the coach for the next year should be Hori!
