The only two players in Japan who should be contemplating a move are Sakai and Kiyotake.

There are no other players who are ready besides those two (except, of course, NT players like Tulio and Endo, but I don't believe that they are being targeted).

There are some players who are probably 1 more good season away from possibly being ready. Players like Kashiwagi, Haraguchi, and Gonda maybe ready if this season is a success, but we just have to wait and see.

And somebody at Bild names those two players, as topping Schmadtke's (Hannover's SD) list.

Is Gonda really good? I always figured his popularity was just an insider thing among the Japanese web.

If Kawashima goes down, I have no problem with Gonda filling in. The only problem is that Zac and his coaching staff somehow prefer Nishikawa...

Sugimoto's loan is only until July

I guess he feels that if he does well until the Olympics, that he'll be selected. But its going to take some effort to unseat Josimar or Abe from the starting line-up.

    Strange loan.

If he really wanted to impress Sekizuka then why not go to a team where he's guaranteed to start? There are plenty of J2 teams that need a striker, but Verdy is not one of them. I wonder if the people at Verdy promised him playing time or something similar.

Avispa sign centre-back Kousuke Yatsuda from Sagamihara SC.

Anyone know anything about him? Seems to have floated between J1 &2 for 10 years.

We signed him because Koga doesn't seem to be able to get fit, Yamaguchi is out for 6 months with an ACL.

I reckon he's too raw for Olympics, if Sekizuka is considering a target player up front I hope he looks at Ibusuki.

Yeah, and Verdy is a strange decision, should have gone somewhere else.

Have you seen Josimar ? It won't take too much really. Besides, the three players rules (Kiyotake, Ogihara, Yamaguchi) just left him no chance so anywhere else would have been better.

too bad for Kempes then. Kawakatsu is not afraid to put Brazilians on the bench so if Josimar keeps sucking, we'll see Sugimoto soon enough.

The problem is that except from Abe and Josimar they haven't got any other striker after Maki's injury.

    What makes u think that?

Kempes have only played 3-4 games so far, and done a pretty decent job. Josimar have been in J2 for several years already and never once managed to get 10+ goals a season.

I think we atleast should give Kempes a few more games before we judge him=)
