Looks like S-Pulse all over again at Gamba with the heart of the team leaving. Will be interesting to see what rises in its place.

That's very sad. Nishino made Gamba Osaka the great team that now is.
Are they really getting rid of him like this?
    It's absurd.
    Gamba is doomed without Nishino.

    Europe is impossible, right?
I loved his work in Osaka.. he made everything possible. Couldn't he do the same thing for some random European team? ;)

Maybe because Italian managers are the best in the world, more or less?

Three to Euro 2012, one leading the EPL, one Asian Champion and all while Ancelotti and Lippi, two of the best, are taking a rest...

You might want to think how much they're saving in salaries, thou... Old players in Japan are ridiculously expensive, especially if they have been with the NT...

I think he is now possibly the most conservative manager in J1, relying mostly on the quality of his players.

Can anybody explain me "Nishino's soccer" this season?
    Because Endo could not ;)

To me seems mostly a "Let's hope Rafinha and Lee score one more than Fujigaya will let in" tactic...

So, how many do they have in the roster at the moment? Like 45?

Hanyu probably will move thou. When asked if he will stay in Tokyo, he refused to reply and seemed disturbed.

Spanish managers might have an argument with you there.

Yeah, like that's all about football. Props to Nishino that he selected the likes of Rafinha and Lee rather than, let's say, Despotović and Escudero.

Oh, and thanks for reminding me why Yatto isn't Gamba's captain :)

Well,i think that even Despotovic or Escudero would have scored some goals playin' upfront for Gamba.
Rafinha is the perfect example:Adriano to Qatar,Rafinha moves in and scores more than he has ever done in Kusatsu...
Than,in the latter part of the season, with the likes of Endo,Myojin and Lee worn out and fatigued Rafinha froze down.

You know, Reds sometimes tried to score throughout this season too :) I'd like 'frozen' for three games Rafinha rather than frozen from the start Despotovic or winger who's pushed to play as the lone striker.

Yes, but Ficcadenti is incapable of knowing how football has to be played.

Nishino is leaving and that's a blessing.

The other two whose contracts haven't been renewed for sure are Yamaguchi and Hashimoto--thou Yamaguchi might still be offered a very cheap contract.

Rafinha of course will go to the Middle East next summer ;)

I doubt he is worse than your average Japanese coach.

FC Tokyo want to reunite Watanabe and Hirayama together, a lethal strikers duo in High School.
    Also, Yasuhiro Hato retires

Former JNT member Wagner Lopes announced today he accepted an offer from a "foreign country" and is going to leave his actual club, Paulista.
Possibly he will be coaching a Japanese club next year?

Was just about to mention this. Apparently (2ch) he was spotted in Hakata today and has known the guy we appointed as general manager yesterday (Takuya Jinno) since they played together at Nissan.

Has some link to Avispa after finishing his career with us.
