I was just reading on the UMD website the profile for PAtrick Mullins and the MAC.. as it turns out, only 1 other UMD player has ever rcieved the MAC.. and it was in 2005, Jason Gerey. Interestingly, he too was from Louisiana.

Just an interesting tidbit...

 

The year after Jason Garey won the Hermann, Notre Dame's Joseph Lapira, also from Louisiana, won it. Mullins would make three Cajuns in eight years.
