You would hope so, but I haven't heard anything have you. Wait this is the FIRE, they don't tell us ANYTHING.
Wasn't Robayo supposed to be the 'special' player that we were all anxious to see displace Pause from the starting XI? How things change in 4 months.
Well, when you bring the captain from one of Colombia's better teams over here, you expect a little something I guess. What do these two men have in common?
Completely unrelated, but I didn't really think our home jersey was too bad (although, even as a collar fan, I though the oversized thing was ridiculous), until I saw it side by side. The old one looks way better.
I agree. I don't mind collars too, but I finally saw one up close at the team store Saturday at the game and was surprised just how big th collar was. The tradionalist in me didn't like the switch to navy from white for the away shirts, but they look good if you judge it alone.
These things happen. He's a more skillfull player than Pause but the physicality in this league has hurt him. I think Chicago would be smart to keep him a little longer. Pappa might get sold & we're unsure about Grazzini, I think Robayo can still adjust slightly to the speed & physicality to MLS & if he can he'll be alot better.

Puppo out on a loan: http://www.chicago-fire.com/news/2012/07/fire-loan-federico-puppo-defensor-sporting-club
Wow, that is a really strange turn of events. We sign a Designated Player, don't play him (he played a total of 216 minutes this season) and designate him for a loan spell (for the rest of the season) back to the country, but not the team, from where we signed him. Then, we sign another Designated Player at the same time. Well, good luck to Puppo, would have liked to see what he could do. Welcome Sherjill McDonald. Let's hope you get more playing time than Federico Puppo.
I think the Chi Trib article said that the McDonald move was waiting to be official once they opened up an international spot. I am correct in saying the Grazzini holds one of those spots? If he is out on personal leave for the rest of the season, it will be sad that the one spot was locked up on him. Puppo may not have been the player to replace Grazzini's play making, but Puppo was still an offensive option available to Klopas, good or bad.
I know I'm in the minority here, but I believe the "family issues" line, and while it isn't a guarantee, think there is still the possibility that he comes back. Don't forget that we cheered him off the field as he revealed a "Thanks Chicago" shirt. He clearly didn't just hate everything about the place. I think it would be sad if we're currently paying him full wages (or even partial if we don't have some sort of promise of a return) but to keep him on the squad is perfectly sensible to me. Of course, if you don't buy that line, then yes, it is sad.
I have no issues or concern that Grazzini is not telling the truth. I feel its not my place to question unless evidence pops up otherwise. I was just thinking strictly in terms of the Fire and their quest for success on the pitch (at least getting back into the playoffs).
I still think Grazzini could play a role in that, so no reason to dump him. From what I have seen so far, I prefer Alex on the left rather than central, so him and Grazzini could work great together.
