Well Alex if any good may be able to replace Pappa.

The question is when Rolfe is healthy does he replace Nyarko or one of the CDM?

    This could get ugly no?

Picking up an option for a guy that may not want to play here anymore, our own Carlos Tevez?

Then again that did work out pretty well for Man City (and West Ham).

I would say Nyarko and Chris on the wings, Alex on the bench as a cam or wingers sub.I think once frank is comfterable with that back line well see pardo on the bench, and the team go to a 442.macdonald ad the centre forward and dom to peel defenders.it'll be serious offensive starting 11.. depending on sherjills adjustment- his resume points towards someone who should be decent in mls.

Sounds like too much miscommunication going on or someone is backpedalling. I'm happy that they are picking up the option, but if Seba has changed his mind because the Fire waited so long, I don't blame him for wanting to go back to Argentina.

They couldn't exercise his option until the transfer window opened. According to Javier Leon, they informed Grazzini a month ago that they were going to exercise the option.

If Grazzini doesn't want to be here it's because he's a prima donna.

For the love of whatever why can't we get a South American player without all the drama? Or one that doesn't underachieve and or suck balls? I'm talking about all of our South American signings not Grazzini in particular.

July 8th will be the perfect time for S8 to really have an effect on morale with a bunch of "Chicago hearts Seba" banners.

I'll work with you on it if you want to help organize it.

Well I'm glad the club decided we were keeping him, I just do not understand why we would wait so long to announce it that we picked up his option and why Grazzini said he didn't know if we were keeping him. Either way I hope he stays with us and if he does decide to leave us I'll be kind of mad now since I stood up for him haha...

When you're not a club in a top European league without the resources to pay top wages, you're always going to have to compromise somewhere, whether it's age (Blanco), poor form (Collins John), headcase (Nery) or injury history (Friedrich).

I understand that. It only seems like we as club come up short when fishing for talent in South America. It's frustrating. Seattle for example has done very well. Montero / Hurtado.

Are you saying Montero isn't a prima donna?

Also, have you forgotten Puerari? He was good until the got sold.

Moving to the first team who offers seems prima donna-ish to me

Nope didn't forget. Puerari didn't stick with us long enough. He was good but it's all speculation when it comes to how good he would be now with us since he left after only a short stint. Montero is a prima donna but he produces. Key word: Produces. I can put up with the drama if the said player backs it up with his contribution on the field.

I'm still on the fence with Grazzini. He's shown when motivated he can be a top CAM in this league. I like him but I don't believe he wants to be with us for the long haul.
