Re: Anyone see any leaks of the 2012 jerseys yet? Why does adidas have this fixation on armpit flare? Can't it be simple and either a) not be there or b) go all the way to the bottom of the shirt? Looks like an armpit weave. I assume that the jersey companies can't go classy and simple every cycle because then people wouldn't buy new stuff. But is potentially alientating a decent segement of customers worth it? Extra stuff is extra - no more swooshes, panels, accents. I truly feel like I could design two classy and different kits every two years.

Re: Anyone see any leaks of the 2012 jerseys yet? I agree about the photo shoot - but I assume the wrinkles are intentional, sad and pathetic, but intentional. Why not shoot it on location in Columbus? By the Scioto Mile, the arches on High St, in front of a Short North botique, inside a cool bar - anything that connects this team to it's supporters. Yes, there is a good chance that someone would notice and shoot a cell phone shot. But that kind of leak is good! It's fan driven - people get to get excited by seeing something unofficial before the release. It's just another opportunity missed. It's a simple thing - a photo shoot for the new kit - not a big deal. But little stuff adds up. The Crew needs someone putting in the extra thought and effort to get it done right.
