The quarter final draw has been made:
Al Kuwait - Al Wihdat
Arema - Al Ettifaq
Arbil - Kelantan
Chonburi - Al Shorta
The final will be played at either of the teams that are in bold.
So, if Al Shorta get to the final, they will be hosting on away soil. I can see it now, the lowest spectated final in history!
Not looking forward to this.
Arema Indonesia 0-2 Ettifaq FC
Chonburi 1-2 Shorta Damascus
Arbil Fc 5-1 Kelentan FA
Kelantan FA 1-1 Arbil FC
Wihdat Amman 0-3 Kuwait SC
Ettifaq Fc 2-0 Arema Indonesia
Arbil Fc , Kuwait SC and Ettifaq FC to semifinals

Arbil (Iraq) 4-1 Chonburi (Thailand)
Cant wait for the final!
Personally, I'm just happy Kuwait SC won this competition at least one time. Winning it again is merely a bonus, therefore I'm not going to be left heartbroken if we lose the final. Since Kuwait SC won the AFC Cup in 2009, my wish has always been that we move on to win bigger competitions, such as the AFC Champions League. Nonetheless, I'm still excited about this fixture.
May the best team win.
Thanks, you too
Erbil SC 0-4 Kuwait SC
Better luck next time, Erbil.
After Kuwait lost to Nasaf Qarshi last year, I thought we'd never play in another AFC Cup final for a very long time, since our club was in an absolute shambles and needed to go through a long-term overhaul.
In fact, we even started the campaign for this year's edition of the AFC Cup in the worst possible way. On the other hand, I think the heavy defeat we faced at the hands of Ettifaq, earlier in the group stage, proved to be a crucial turning point for the club.
So far, two Kuwaiti-based football teams have made it to the AFC Cup final for the past four seasons, which is a great achievement in my opinion. I think it goes to show that we should at least be given the chance to participate in the upper-tier Asian competitions.
Anyway, the scoreline proves that we deserved this victory. Having said that, let's take nothing away from Erbil and the wonderful Iraqi/Kurdish supporters who attended the game. I hope they win this tournament one day.
Kuwait deserved to win
Congrats to Kuwait sc. But now I believe afc should implement the bigger leagues into the afc cup like the k j and s league to increase competition. Just like Europe maybe the best nations get their usual 4 afc champions league spot and 3 a addition 2 afc cup spot and maybe a playoff spot
They tried last year with the playoffs. The Chinese team withdrew, and the Korean team won the playoff showing they were to good for this level.
