Fine. Be that way. Crew waive Grossman, Vargas, and Vukovic. SKC waive Julio Cesar, Cyprian Hedrick, Neven Markovic and Konrad Warzycha.
Portland waive Freddie Braun, Ian Hogg, and Charles Renken. Philly waive Gabriel Gomez, Porfirio Lopez, and Krystian Witkowski. Also add Carlos Rodriguez to the list of casualties in Dallas.
It looks like Alex Lee (FCD) is added - they also chopped off a goalie (3 listed but only 2 names - assume that it is Bill Gaudette as Ian Joyce might go in the Re-Entry Draft). They originally had Ian Hogg in the goalkeeper slot, but he is a defender. I just chalked it up to them getting things confused but they could have meant Ian Joyce. Lee is listed in the article as a previously waived player, but in this thread we have Guarda listed as a waived player (and he is nowhere to be found on this list).
According to the Rapids article this morning, Joyce is eligible for the re-entry draft. He's been in MLS 3 years, so if he still has an option year on his contract that would be correct.

So, RSL begins its offseason makeover by cutting Nico Muniz and adding Cole Grossman from the waiver draft.
I forgot Guarda had been around that long. Of course I should remember since he lined a ball at someone during halftime in Philly's second ever home game and that was 3 seasons ago.
I think very premature to add Grossman to the IN list for RSL. Chances are RSL never sign him and he is only there for camp fodder.
i never add anybody from a draft unless they actually sign. the first round of the SuperDraft is the only exception since almost all of those guys end up signing (tho not necessarily making it thru the season).

This is splitting hairs, just a matter of timing, but when a player announces that they they're leaving at the end of the season, shouldn't you wait until their season is over before listing them as out?
during the season we put players on the list who announce they are coming to an MLS team in the summer window before they actually move. basically if there is an official announcement of some kind i put it on the list so people can know what is going on ... if becky changes his mind i will take him off the list.

Edit: Busy afternoon all of a sudden. Bryan Meredith just tweeted thanking the Seattle fans and saying he is going to miss the place. Safe to say he is out at Seattle.
